Focus SVT handling Vs. RX8 handling

I know these cars have different purposes but which handles better? What would happen at the autoX? The Focus is stiffer, lighter, and has better skidpad ratings but the 8 has awesome weight distribution and rwd. Would the weight distribution be a bigger factor during high speed turns? Does the weight distribution help maintain speed once the car starts sliding?

well the RX-8 is a much more expensive car but I'd take it any day. Not only do you get more power but like you said it's RWD and better balanced......you can always throw on some stiffer springs if needed. For Auto-X I'd always go RWD if I can.......torque steer is a ***** when trying to power out of those tight low speed corners and stuff.

I would go with the RX-8 even though it is classed in BS and has a hard time with the s2000 and 350z. It has great balance and the RWD is nice.
