If I remember correctly. It was a 00 black itr, with the red canadian interior, jackson supercharged with like 80k. They were selling it for 9k which wqs similar pricing to your em1.
They had just sold it before I got there but the em1 was still there and I couldn't pull the trigger since it was only an em1 even with the miles.
Glad its still at low miles

Sounds like an interesting ITR… wonder what ever came of that car?
The Civic should have become just another DD, but I couldn't do it, so I ended up storing it and and picking up something else to put miles on. It's just an interesting time piece for it's condition, you don't see EM1's in this condition and this well kept.

I purchased the car Aug. 22 2010, going on 4 years now, and have only put on 1450 miles since then… I've had ZERO issues with the car. It's stored winters, and when I go to take it out, it starts flawlessly every time. It runs amazing and looks AMAZING! I detail the car inside and out every fall, prior to it going into storage. It's been a great car, and a true privilege to own. I've really done my very best to keep it in far better condition then when I purchased it. I've fought temptation over modification of the car. The only thing I've done to the car is a set of Eibach lowering springs and an OEM rear lip. Other than that it is completely stock. I really wanted to get a feel for how the car was stock, and it's a true time capsule.
Here's an AWESOME video from MotorWeek, circa 1999 of the EM1 Civic Si:

Jesus Christ on a pogo stick.
If you ever decide to sell her, I call dibs. Such a beautiful car, especially when it's completely stock. I wish I had been old enough to buy one when they were first released.
I had to revive a 3-year old forum account that I made mid-Afghanistan deployment just to post this.

I've had numerous people ask me about selling it, quite a few from this thread alone. Those who are serious can PM me and we can chat about it.

Did you ignore the comment you quoted? Here it is again.
PM him if you want to buy the car; don't resurrect a 10 month old thread.
Thanks, I appreciate the compliments.

Every year around this time… late fall/winter, I get an average of 2-3 offers on the car of "serious" buyers and enthusiasts who want the car for themselves. It's very difficult to come to grips with letting the car go.
Thanks to all those who have checked in, and who have enjoyed this particular thread on my EBP EM1 Civic!

That's how I feel. Money isn't an issue when it comes to selling this car. I don't want it becoming a daily driver, I don't want it being modified, and I certainly don't want it being abused in any way shape or form. It's difficult to find a good home for a car like this that I feel would be treated properly. I know for many it's "just a Civic", but to me, it's so much more.
