Take a look at this. Not sure I'm allowed to post links here but the performance, specifically acceleration #s for these cars is what I thought the Evo would be at. I have a 2014 GSR. Will a cosworth drop in, high flow cat and modest tune help reach these numbers?

The Audi only has 265hp/250tq and it's not that light at all.

Wouldn't mind their mpg figures either.

The document lists the testers driving mileage @ ~20mpg. In my 2008 X MR I tended to get 20 city/26 highway with a Cobb AP and not much else. Not sure what kind of driving you are doing to wish for 20mpg....

Looking at this older Motor Trend article for Evo X MR specs yields:

lateral gs: 0.93 (better than the TT, just behind the 135i)
braking 60-0: 112ft (better than both cars)
0-60mph: 4.5s (better than both cars)
0-100mph: 12.3 (slower than both cars)

Granted, your car is a manual so acceleration might be a little worse. I'm a bit out of the loop on the latest X tuning (haven't driven mine in 2 years ), but I think with mild mods like you listed, maybe throw in a UICP (Upper Intercooler Pipe) should net you enough whp. I mean, the car should be damn near this performance envelope already.
