My 2013 Dodge Dart
Hey Evom, its been a while since I've posted anything and it has been a while since I got my car so i think it'd be a good idea to finally share it with you guys!
So I got a new 2013 Dodge Dart Limited 1.4T multi-air turbo.Well I want to start off by saying this is my first car, and it is my brand new car. I paid 25.2k for it with taxes and everything. I didnt get a single bit of help from mommy and daddy when i bought her back in the last week of april(Im only 18 too!). I bought her with 129 miles and now she has 7,800. She is my daily and I commute to college daily about 50 miles, so every week she racks up about 250 miles. I have modded her a little bit, but not so much yet I am still deciding whether I want to continue modding her or not. She has her days when she puts a smile on her face and when she doesnt.
I got the standard 3year/36,000 mile warranty on her. I got all but 2 packages, I cant remember what they are off the top off my head but the ones I didnt get were ones i thought were a total waste of money. Shes got premium sound, heated leather seats, 1 year surius xm radio, navi, race track led lights, and a bunch more!
So far my dart was gone to the shop once for a warranty covered fix of a new sunroof motor becuase the last one went ka-put on me. I have done an oil change every 3,000 miles and have reciepts and everything for all purchases made to her.
Current Mods:
Cherry Red Calipers
Black plasit-dipped wheels
Tint(20% front %5 rest)
3' DRP Race Dump
I normally get about 25-27 mpg's with the stock exhaust, but with the race dump i get about 20-22 mpg's.
I plan on taking the black plasti-dip off when the weather gets warmer and applying red in place of it. I also plan on painting my calipers black instead of red. On top of that I want to plasti-dip my chrome exterior red such as the front grill, door handles, chrome fog light parts, and emblems on the back.

Sadly I am still in love with the
Evo and it still is and always will be my dream car. I still want to buy one badly, they're pretty much the only thing thats on my mind anymore lol. I could of bought an Evo instead of the Dart, but at the point in time i wasn't in control of my bank account because I was under my dads name. I have thoughts about selling my Dart after next semester and buying an Evo, lemme know what you guys think of that idea. I sometimes feel as if my life isnt complete without an Evo and dont know whether i should just finally kill the dreams of always wanting one and finally get one. I know you guys are probably like your car is pretty nice why in the hell would you trade it for an Evo. I see in a sense it is downgrading but I really dont use my navi or some other features as much as i thought I would. I'd rather looking at a printed sheet of navigation routes instead of the using the navigation, it is nice to have navi though.

How come yours came out to 25.3? I have come across a lot that are btwn 17 and 19k. Regardless they are used itssuch low mileage I would rrather save the money.

Keep what you have, it will only cost you money on a trade/sale and you will likely end up with someone else's problem and additional expenses. Stay in school and put your money there. Cars will come and go, you have one chance at a decent education..

well like i was saying its the limited trim which msrp was 19,999.tax was about 1,200. Packages and all the title and document feea added up to the rest making it the 25.3. When get home from college ill post a pic of what came with it.

Keep it also I guarantee the dart will not hold its resale value at all! I had a 2013 abarth and it depreciated 6k dollars in 2 months. The dart will probably be much worse

I'm pondering on the idea of buying a 99 gsx next summer(keep the dart) so I can make myself a fun 500-600 whp street monster. I want to make it like Paul Walkers F&F dsm.
