When the Devil clears his throat, it sounds like this.

I am in love with this car! I know it will probably be eaten alive by the Camaro and Mustang on a track but I just love the look of the Challenger. I think it is the most menacing looking pony car.

Absolutely Gorgeous

I despise modern Challengers. The SRT8 is almost 4200 lbs, but makes due with skinny 245/45tires in the front and 255/45 tires in the rear. How in the heck Dodge can make a RWD two door sporty coupe weigh this much is beyond my reasoning. They also don't handle well at all. The Mustang GT is faster in all instrumented tests of performance and weighs 550 lbs less.

I don't care if the Hellcat makes 707HP, it's a one-trick pony. Maybe they'll at least put acceptably sized tires on it.

A colleague summed it up nicely: "Hellcat because: F**k tires."

I'll be impressed when I see some lap times.

This would make a great 2nd car I just wish it would lose some weight so it compete with Z28 and Shelby.

And also slower. The challenger on drag radials runs 10's at 126 in the quarter. Confirmed by NHRA and Chrysler

agreed, the thing is bigger and heavier than some SUV's... the car would be awesome if it was about 7/8's scale with shorter but wider tires

they might up the tire size to maybe something appropriate for a regular SRT8... not a 700 hp version...
