Mitsubishi Airtrek Turbo-R
#16
The Airtrek Turbo R is not available in the UK through Mitsubishi UK but through Xtreme Automobiles (Ralliart). I am sorry to see my Evo VI go after two years, although I must say I had one of the Tommi Makkinen editions on which bits fall off, the AYC was faulty (causing high speed bend exits backwards), first clutch went after 2,700 miles, the front seats needed replacing and its now showing signs of rust.
As I am showing signs of age I need something a little more restrained but the Airtrek does not have enough go as standard. The Stage 1 tuning is as far as you can go unless you want to do more with the gearbox.
The UK Xtreme site has useful FAQs at http://www.ralliartuk.com/default.asp

In about a year, the Oeuropean Outlander will also become available with a 200hp turbo engine. Details are still sketchy, but if you can read German, the following site will have some info about it:

click on "Unternehmen" then "Presse" for the news release.
