mazda is releasing the new mazda protege 170hp turbo. i saw one its pretty kewl. it has sparco pedals sparco shift nob. and it looks pretty tyte. and the kewl thing is it is only 20k alot less then the evo but of corse alot slower but u can tell the difference in price. it sure would smoke an OZ . it allso comes with 7 speakers.250watts. i might be looking into these cars :>) tell me what u guys think of the new turbo protege.

ya my bad it is a 450watt system. o ya and it has LSD -limited slip differential. this car seems alot better then nissans SER spec-V and the celicaand i like it more than a civic SI. and i still wanna know what u guys think of it. should i get one?

i bet it's gonna be real easy to raise the boost on that car. i would think mazda would make the internals strong enough to handle a lot of pressure. probably just need an intercooler

personally i like the protege. i wonder how much the suspension differs on this one than the MP3, cuz i heard that car handles like a champ. i think mazda is really stepping their game up right now with the release of this and the RX8.

Yeah. I've heard that Mazdaspeed will probably end up being like SVT is to Ford, ARC is to Dodge. SCC said to expect a Mazdaspeed version of the Miata and the RX-8 in the near future. I wish Nissan would get on the ball and start doing that with Nismo. I mean, that was the precursor to the SER I've heard... a Nismo version of the Sentra. So, why don't they start offering that on Nissan/Infinity? Imagine a Nismo tuned 350Z... mmmmm.
