Hi guys here's some video footage of a recent trackday at Sepang International Circuit... this segment is about me and a passenger trying to chase a modified R33 GTR with an experienced driver at the wheel. In the video I'm understeering all over the place because the tires are totally worn.

the skyline was alil faster on the straight but u closed in on him on the turns..... maybe he let u pass since u were right on his ***... then again i didnt see the 2nd part.. is there a 2nd part?

The tagline is supposed to be a teaser... hope to get the car in good working condition and with any luck I hope to meet the R33 owner again.... friendly and unassuming dude. What surprised me most was that a mutual friend who knows the car says that it's pushing at least 380bhp, albeit with a different final gear ratio. Do you think it's possible that I managed to close up on him like that in the front straight? Or perhaps his car wasn't healthy that day?

It is possible. Remember that the R33 is a couple hundred pounds heavier so with 380 bhp, you should still be able to hang around. I think why you pulled him like tha tthough was because he screwed up his exit on that last turn before the straight. Your exit speed was MUCH higher and that allowed you to carry more speed down the str8. I think that had more to do with you closing on him than anything else.
