FYI: the 0-100 time is comparable to a modern F1 car.

A modern F1 car would be around 6 seconds. JV's '99 BAR F1 was tested at 7.8, and the current cars are much faster.

Edit: Oops, didn't notice you weren't including braking. Even at that, an F1 car can do 0-100 much faster - in the realm of 4 seconds.

^^^i've seen f1 cars in person (on display). on the stat sheet for an '02, they quoted a 0-100 time around 5.5 seconds. could have been a misprint/mistake i guess.

I found a couple articles on Atlas F1 (usually reliable) quoting the 0-100 at a bit over 4 seconds, and 0-100-0 around 6. It would depend on the aero config though.

F1 cars do a 6 second 1/4 with a trap speed of about 175 mph.

Its powered an American Chev V8 650hp. This might be the next Cobra, back in 1968 Cobra got a British body and put an American engine in it. This time it is also a British body and an American V8..... Irony
