don't hate the S2000. A guy where I autocross at has one and consistently pulls off some of the best times of the day. The S2000 is a lot better than most people think. Maybe one day I'll beat his times with my Evo but Im still a noob.

I just raced a buddy of mine that has a Comptech supercharged S2K. He also has a Spearco aftercooler, huge injectors(650 or something), tons of tuning time. 1st and 2nd I had him by a 1/2 a car, 3rd it was all over. He got me by about 3 cars to 95+. I am bone stock. He had me race a buddy of his from S2KI that was bone stock and I killed him. Don't mess on an autoX track with them though.

Yeah, S2Ks are a lot better than what people think.
Modded Evo vs stock S2k drag is a no brainer, stock Evo vs stock S2K drag depends on the driver. Evo has a big advantage if properly launched. If the guy can't launch his S2K and very few people are willing to do it, there's no way he would even drop in the 13s.
If he's SC-ed or turboed though, watch out
Noob Evo driver vs good S2K driver in twisties like the movie above would be very very interesting.

I had a Comptech SC on my S2k and the top end on it was crazy. Off the line it was almost the same as a stock S2k but once it got over 6k rpms in second gear the car just took off. Stock vs stock though the Evo should be able to handle the S2k most the time with equal drivers. With the distance you can put on an S2k off the line I dont think it can be made up unless you are racing well over 100mph.

I can not see how can a S2000 catch up with an Evo, let alone beating it. I do not have either one, but I just want to say the only thing a S2000 beats an Evo is its interior design and quality.

I've "raced" a stock s2000 from about 40mph in 3rd gear. I pretended I was pulling hard and was just staying even with him, then I looked over, waved and dropped the hammer. Not even close.
I "raced" a turbo'd s2000 from 50 in 4th gear (he was in high 3rd, I think). He pulled on me at first, but he shifted and I was in high 4th and I pulled on him. We ran again from 30 in the same gear and we were door to door...
Summary: Stock - no chance
Turbo'd or SC'd - Those suckas are fast!
