Description:

On all of my cars I always do custom paintwork- I only buy the best.  I bought a pint of Chromabase paint for my Evo 9 MR.  This color is called "graphite grey" from mitsubishi.  The paint code is A39.  If you are not sure this is the color for you- check the sticker when you open your drivers door!   Mitsubishi used this on other cars as well, not just the Evo.  I think they had an eclipse this color as well.  This paint is UNREDUCED- which means you mix it with reducer before you spray it.  So you will get twice as much sprayable paint as what is in the can since you use as much reducer as paint.  If you want a good color match and good adhesion don't buy cheap paint!

Just to give you an idea- I just bought a full pint of chromabase for my 2001 Honda CRV that I had to paint the liftgate of.  I probably used about as much as in this container and a full pint was 150$.  (still have plenty left for future)

I have no use for this color anymore.  This was mixed in 2013- but it will last as long as you need it to as long as you keep it sealed when it is in storage and don't let it freeze.

The main picture of this thread is my old car (which is now sold).  This can painted the JDM rear bumper, as well as custom light internals and many other custom parts.

bump - if anyone is wondering I still have enough paint for someone who would need to spray an entire panel (say you needed to do a bumper over, or a door/fender).

With today's prices this would cost you at least $100 more than I am asking - not to mention I know this color matches (which is the main thing to worry about)
