damn hope you got that spun rod bearing fixed. yea that was the exact problem, i removed and cleaned my tail lights and the passenger side had a short, because a bulb looked burnt but not out. i also believe the harness was loose or wet which caused all the craziness and my number 20 blowing. i replugged everything and changed the fuse, and no problems since. my srs light came on the other day, i've read i have to have the dealership reset it possibly...might just remove that bulb haha. evo's with over 100k are problem children but good for learning.

hey man did you ever fix that dash light problem, im having the same exact issue. everything worked fine until i installed a jvc headunit. im going to clip and ground the dimmer wire like another post said to try from your thread. also my passenger front sidemarker and taillights dont work. cluster lights are on while key is in on position but as soon as i turn my parking lights on, number 20 fuse blows. thanks for anything you can suggest.
