Northern Virginia Machine Shop?
Hey guys,
The time has come for me to build up my motor. I've got a core long block in very good condition to work with.
I'm looking at various options from AMS, Buschur, Darkhorse as well as doing the build myself. The last motor I built was a flat six from a Porsche 911, far more complex than the 4G63. I think with adequate time and the right machine shop I can put a good build together.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent machine shop in the DC area?

I've heard good things about C&C in Manassas and I know two people who were satisfied with Tysons Machine. This was all for domestic V8 rebuilds, so I don't know if they do imports. For an Evo, I think I personally would go with Buschur because I don't think you'd have the communication issues that seem to plague so many machine shops.

Yeah, the communication issues are what worry me. Right now I'm looking at Jackson Auto Machine up in Hanover, MD. It's only about 30 minutes further from me than than C&C and they seem to know their crap when it comes to the 4G63.
