At first I was thinking, "Damn, this car isn't going to last driving it this much!" I don't say that anymore!
My Plan is to just keep driving it until the engine is spent, then it 2.3L stroker time baby!

Redcloud,
Congrats on your car, it seems like you like the car and know how to take care of it.
I know own a EVO 8 MR but I am not new to the 4G63 engines, I had a 90 Laser RS turbo, a 91 GSX and a 90 GSX in the past.
As long as you use full shyntetic oil and do your maintenace regularily you should be fine. These engines are tough but you need some basic rules:
always use full shyntetic oil
always wait for warm up before taking off
always wait before shutting off

Awesome!
I have 59K now and still on stock clutch. Will be 2 yrs old in Nov. and I have only taken it back to the dealer for the first 3 oil changes ( which was a big rip-off, btw )
Most of my aftermarket installs and maintenance work were done at Tuning Technologies in Colton. I hope I can reach 100K before I need to replace my clutch.
Congratulations!

very nice. i also wish mitsu was as easy about having mods and doing warranty work.
i am interested in exactly which amsoil oil you are using. i have thought about switching to amsoil myself but don't know too many people personally who run it. thanks in advance.

I've changed oil every 10K after switching. According to AMSoil you can go 3x longer than what ever the factory fill was. I choose 10K. you just have to keep an eye on the oil level. I usually have to add 1/2 a quart between changes. When you are running 19psi of boost there will always be a small amount of blowby.
