AMS Motorsports Tuning Days @ ProMotion - READ
Hey Guys.... You all already know that AMS Performance is coming to AMS Tuning on Sept 22nd. After seeing how some guys on EvoM.net were asking for dyno tunes, yet the price was rising for those tunes, we contact Chris and Martin. I have spoken to Chris several times about doing a Day here at Pro-Motion Tuning on Sept 23rd versus 2 days in CT. He called today and spoke to Mike and mentioned they can do so if 5 people register. We are offering free Dyno Usage to AMS Performance for any tunes the customers want on the dyno. You just pay AMS for the flashs on the tune. However this does not mean you NEED to be on the dyno to do a tune. AMS is still offering Street Tunes.
So here is what we need... If you want to get your tune by AMS Performance on Saturday September 23rd, 2006, Please call me or Mike at 877-724-6682 and give us your name & phone number. Once we have your number, you will get a phone call from Chris within 24 hours to get payment to reserve your spot.
As of the time of this post, there is still one slot at AMS on Friday Sept 22nd in Maryland. We are trying to offer Saturday Sept 23rd for those who cant get of work and/or want the option to be tuned on the Dyno with no additional cost to the owner of the car.
Here is the details from AMS's post. We need 5 cars ASAP. If we do not have 5 confirmed by Saturday, AMS cannot make it. Also bare in mind our office will be closed this Friday and Saturday, Sept 15-16.
Date: September 22-24th
Location: Washington DC & Greenwich/Stamford Connecticut
Benefits of the AMS Flash :
RPM limit increased (customer specified)
Set 2-Step launch RPM (customer specified)
Boost control (Custom and Base flash)
Raise fuel cut to safe level, or remove completely
Improved idle with cams
Air/Fuel curve optimization
Timing CURVE optimization
MIVEC Tuning on Evo 9’s (Custom and Base flash)
Base flash for your current list of modifications. This is also followed up with a quick road test with logging to ensure that everything is working properly. You can expect at least a 20whp and 20ftlbs torque gain. We will be doing these all day, in-between the custom flashes on a first come, first serve basis. $180
All base flash cars must have:
Fuel Pump (Recommended)
Stock injectors
Stock MAF intake pipe
Stock Turbo
Stock Fuel Pressure
Custom flashes will be scheduled ahead of time, and we will be doing 6 per day. These will be full tuning of your vehicle’s A/F curve and timing curve. Also, for the EVO 9 the MIVEC timing will be optimized. As you know every car is different, some are very different, and this will bring out the very best in each car. Unlike the base tunes, they will be adjusted for your specific car to extract the most horsepower and torque possible. Actual numbers will depend on the modifications to your car. Each custom tune will have its own 2 hour time slot. $395
I will have 6 slots available each day. The schedule will look something like this.
