It's going to be COLD in the mornings for this. Not looking forward to pulling wheels off to change brake pads when it's dark and 30-something degrees out. But it will all be worth it when I start that first session

Driving Forecast
I just hope that we have one dry day that weekend. The WX forecast, as it stands now is:
Friday, 09 Nov, Partly Cloudy, 40%
Saturday, 10 Nov, Showers, 20%
Sunday, 11 Nov, Scattered Showers, 30%
I guess I'd better bring my umbrella.

Pushing the Limit
I didn't necessarily mean it wouldn't be.
I always try to push my cars to the breaking point in the rain and snow when I feel that it's safe (to avoid other cars and unmoveable objects). I like to be able to fourwheel drift the car and then recover safely so I know what to do if it happens when I'm pushing too hard. The only vehicle I hate driving in the rain is my F150 pickup--it's too light in the a$$ and I spin tires too easily in the rain and snow.
For example, I came around a corner yesterday in my BugEye, after stopping at a red light and then accelerating around the corner, and went drifting for a short period until I caught traction and took off down the road. My friend, travelling in the right lane after stopping and then making his turn in front of me, called me on the phone and asked me what the hell I was doing (he heard the wheels spinning). I told him it wasn't intentional, but that I took off too fast. I guess he was a little concerned when I came drifting around his left side and then passed him--he wasn't expecting that.
Poor little Honda...did the big bad WRX scare you?
Anyway, I'll behave myself at Shenandoah: I heard that there are walls all around and not much run off and I haven't paid off my car yet.

Driving in the rain makes you smooth and fast drivers in the rain are very fast in the dry. I had few days at summit and it was raining none stop for the whole day, lets say it thought me good things. Regardless, tomorrow and this weekend is going to be sunny, dry and warm so it will be a lot of fun.

I wish I could of made it on Sunday. My car was pretty much done for the weekend. I started with clear brake fluid, now it has a iced tea color to it.
It was great time as usual and it was great seeing most of you at the track. I can't wait for the next event!
