Good idea! Here is the first:

Type: AWD Road Dyno
Location: Your glove box
Accuracy: Good - very consistent
Cost: $150.00 (Keep the dyno)

For more information go tohttp://www.charm.net/~mchaney/roaddyno/

Sounds like a gimmick...you can't take the place of a proper chassis dyno

Skeptic eh Limey?

It is not a tool for tweaking A/F ratios, but very useful for checking the increase/decrease from mods. It certainly can replace a chassis dyno plus it does not have the inherent errors such as calibration and roller losses and wind dynamics and ramp rates etc . Many people do not have access to AWD dyno’s and this is an excellent alternative for all car owners. It is no gimmick and it cost about the same as an hour on a chassis dyno.

Nope, not a gimmick, "road dyno" results as tested by yours truly...

It's definitely a good tool if you are gonna mod...

"Many people do not have access to AWD dyno's"..... This is really why I started this thread...I think members could benefit and would have more access to these facilities if we let them know where these dyno's were located....I see your point about the road dyno being an alternative for measuring performance gains.....does it work like a G-Tech Pro performance meter?

There's a 2-wheel-drive (FWD & RWD) dyno at Garage Kwai in Arlington Heights, IL. I think their website is garagekwai.com but I could be mistaken.
