Had a clutch installed

Big props to Xceptional Auto Repair & Performance.

Got an Exedy multiplate clutch installed on Friday. Brought it in the morning and rolled out at lunch time. Still going through the break in period, but the clutch feels a lot better.

Thanks again for keeping my Evo on the road.

I have an exedy twin disk too. Good stuff. Heard good things about Xceptional too. They're localish to my girlfriend's place, I plan on stopping by when weather is a little warmer.

How much was the clutch install?

Yeah, both of us did, for basically the same reason, last year.

But Xceptional changed our minds, we're staying in the evo game.

It was but with the economy, I couldn't get the money that I wanted. Long story short, I picked up 1 full sponsorship and 1 co-sponsorship with a 2 year contract. I'm finally getting the kinks out and the car is driving so much better. At 1 time the shows and the driveability of the car was pissing me off. I was getting frustrated with everything on the car. For 1, not only do I show it but I daily drive the damn thing. I have to keep it in tip top shape, knowhatimean.

When you say Exedy multi plate clutch, do you mean Exedy twin HD??
Also how far have you come along with the break in on the clutch, notice anything unusual in how it sounds??
