what clutch to get

need to find a cheap clutch to put into my car. had a act street but apparently they eat up transmissions. im now on my second shep rebuild and need a new clutch. whats a good clutch for under $1000. really want advice on a wuality clutch that qon't put me into the same place im in now

exedy you dummy. already told you. try and find a cheep twin, if not go with the single disk.

lol I told him fidanza if he wanted cheap good clutch. I didn't even think of a used exedy twin I would do that but would stay away from the exedy single disk I hear they don't last long.

Competition Clutches is what i have and ive heard good stuff about them. You can check it out if you want. If its a DD i wouldnt go with a twin plate. Brian, think about the traffic day in newark, now tell him to get a twin plate for DD duty lol.

im installing my the hd-ss on thursday is that the same one your saying sucks and ruined your transmission? that would be my luck lol

I have the fidanza 4.3 in my car and its holdin up. it was almost 700 i think. The chatter sucks in it b.c its a puck clutch but its holdin up and i havent had ne problems out of it yet besides the chatter.

how much diffrent driving wise is the Fidanza 4.3 compared to act street

stikiller.com I think there are stage 1 excedy for the 500 area, possibly.
