I'm back in the states, and have a new gremlin that may be related to the problem above. I've been noticing that the first 4-5 of minutes I drive the car that it doesn't want to make power. When I drove it this morning after 11 days of (garaged) sitting I didn't have enough power to crank it. I jumped the car, drove it the 33 miles to work and later went out to get lunch; got a bit of hesitation stating it. I drove it 10 minutes and let it sit for about the same, an got even more hesitation starting it; almost not enough juice to start it.
I pulled out on to the highway with force to get out ahead of a gravel truck, and the engine faltered under power, but seconds later came back to normal; unrepeatable at the next light. I'm wondering if the alternator could be giving up, not making enough juice to charge or power the ignition under load (making for a slow boost)? The battery is 3 mos. old, going to go by and get it checked on the way home, provided it will start.

howdy, navy guy here at oceana, was wondering what it would cost and the amount of time it would take for you guys to purchase and install a manual boost control on my car. i know you guys would have to take a look at my car before doing anything at all, my next off day is next friday and was wondering if you guys do walk ins for that kinda stuff. not entirely sure if my car needs a mbc but since im only running 10psi with the stock turbo, i think i do.
