EVO Broken Into
Sometime between midnight and sun rise today (9/14/09) someone (more then likely professionals to some extent) broke into two of my cars plus my cousins car. No sign of forced entry, all does were unlocked. Glove box contents thrown everywhere, my IPod stolen and my cousins GPS from her car. Filed a police report and they told me thieves are now using a "universal" keyless entry remote to open all kinds of cars. I'd have to agree with the cops on this one, as one car was a Mitsu, one Acura, and one Toyota. No damage done to the cars, so we are lucky there.
The *******s stole my ash tray because it had maybe a $1.00 worth of spare change. So now I need to get a new ash tray, anyone know of anyone from a junked evo maybe?
Anyway, the moral is people, be careful with key less entry (stock key less that is). I'll be getting an alarm installed needless to say. So it's my fault for not having one, but it sucks not being able to have nice things. Time to go buy a gun now, would rather have one when i need it then not have one when i really need it. ****ing scum.
