external wastegate stock turbo

Ok guys Is there any way to run external wastegate on a FP red on evo ix?

were you at the tuning day sat? i've got a green, and an external dump. basically all the external dump downpipes you see do just that.

Effectively nothing is done to hotside of turbo. Its just where the two exhaust streams are directed. The gate opening creates a second path for exhaust to flow (instead of through turbine), and we either direct it back into the main pipe (in my first pic), or we can leave it in its own pipe to the world (second picture, and an open dump).

he did? do you have a tubular or stock? im only asking, as my impression was that stock exhaust mani could be good up over 400-500 range.

yes an external waste gate is always better than an interna one, it hold boost better and its more efficient. i ran an external on my DSM with an evo3 16g turbo and it was a lot better, it held boost consistently all the way to red line and i gained 12whp converting to an external.
