Dyno Day at Mach V Saturday, 7/17!

Come to our first dyno day at our new World Headquarters (also known as the Ultimate Performance shop) in Sterling, VA.

What: Dyno day at Mach V

When: Saturday, July 17, 9am to 5pm

Where: 45064 Underwood Lane, Sterling VA, 20166

Details: The day will be broken down into 40-minute slots, which you'll reserve by calling us and giving us your credit card info. (Sucks to have the staff out for a dyno day and nobody shows up, y'know?) First come, first served on the slots, so if you're thinking about it, call sooner rather than later. Cost is $75 per slot, plus $25 if you want air/fuel exhaust gas analysis. In 40 minutes, you can usually get a car strapped down and have 2-3 good runs with some cool-down time in between.

I'm also inviting our local WRX customers.

We look forward to seeing you.

Darn it... I gotta make de custard that day! I'm leaving the shop @4, but not enough time to make it. I'll be there for the next one, or actually, maybe I'll just come in on my own. I gotta see what I'm putting w/my exhaust change...

After running the dyno for eight hours, I'll probably be pretty tired. But if you all want to bring some grill food, we can roll out the barbecue for lunch like at our usual meets.

We've got four dyno slots left, by the way. All in the afternoon.

Are these your normal prices or is this a discount because it is a "dyno day"?

Dyno day discount (although these are also shorter time slots than the usual dyno hour-long sessions). Regular prices here.

Dan, Pure Evo here... how often do you anticipate having dyno days? Monthly? Few times a year? Dictated by demand? I can't make it Sat, but I need to do a couple of runs, and I don't mind coming on my own for regular price (which is still cheaper than the closest AWD dyno competitor up 28 off Waxpool), but I really like the atmosphere of dyno days... kind of fun with everone there.

Monthly, if there's demand. I think there will be.

Great! We had a full day, with four Evos and a whole lot of Subarus.

Here's one Evo dyno chart:

I didn't get any pictures of the Evos on the dyno, though. Did anyone else?

If the rest of you who participated are on here, I'll post your charts, too, if you give me the go-ahead.
