I placed Pennzoil Synchro in mine (it takes about 2.8quarts).
Nothing too fantastic. I also placed a bottle of friction modifier in the tranny (pm me if you want the part number).
From what Ive read, GM and Penzzoil synchro are the same. GM charges a touch more (perhaps due to the name) Anyone considering changing out the synchro's?
It seems that Mitsu has had problems with the synchros since the Galant VR4 days (1991 abouts). The part number matches those with the DSM's. So if ours are related, then perhaps we inherated this problem.

A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING WHO IS NERIA... I'M JUST AN STi GUY THAT WANTS AN EVO TOO... MAYBE FOR XMAS? On a serious note, do you have a spring machine at your shop? If so, would you mind if I just bring the entire strut assembly, and you can take them apart so I don't have to????
