well first of all i wouldn't pay lancer shop prices on anything. second of all, i am not spending that much on a clutch that may not last me more than a year or two

Evostore.com has that clutch for 1600, not much of a savings, but it's $50 cheaper.

well i would hope so too. but you can't be positive right? i mean we all know i don't drive like a granny. and now that i have the launch control, god only knows how that's going to affect my driving. if i knew it would get me 3 or more years with my driving, and a few times to the track, that would probably solve it for me.

With a stronger clutch you may be looking more towards drive train issues than clutch issues.
