If you can get the rubber off, I can probably get them coated for dirt cheap. Once I get mine back, I plan on having them do mine. (I think I'm going to go with a satin black)

Besides, they won't BLANKET void your warranty. Get that outta your heads. All over some threads by people who probably pissed off their service managers. Argh...

Honestly, I really don't have anything to complain about... I still have a warranty Moreso, I'm one of those preacher guys who believes in "gotta pay to play." I guess I misread the title (or perhaps it's purposly deceiving? ) considering the context of MOD

There is also the competitive aspect of autoX to consider. On a lapping day you aren't timed. Don't get me wrong I love hitting the tracks, but the cost is way higher than autoX. I figure a lapping day costs over $1,000 by the time everything is done, and that's assuming you don't hit anything. An autocross I figure costs around $75-100 depending on where it is.

I have a cabin up in northern WI, around the eagle river area, with some killer private gravel/dirt roads, absolutely no traffic on them at all. I hit them up every time I go up there. Good times, get to practice AutoX, and best of all free.

I drove up to the Dells last weekend for a golf trip with some guys from work. We played all three courses at Trapper's Turn, they were all a lot nicer than the courses by me down in in the Chicago burbs, not too much elevation change here. Anybody been to Chubby's?
