the new turbosmart bov. has a tension adjusting top. according to the manual, free rev the engine, back off quickly. if it falls below idle or stalls, increase tension half a turn. repeat. here's the problem, i have the cap all the way down. it is set to 50/50 vta/recirc right now. do i need to go 100% recirc to keep it from dropping? and if so, is there a point to me having this bov?

I have figured out how to clear up this problem. I looked at the idle maps in the '05 and copied them to my '03 with minor adjustments. The dipping/stalling problem is virtually eliminated and I even removed my EIDS (idle stabilizer).

Heh, actually it just means that I get more money and a higher title than the others

Same work load it's just that it's been slower lately and I've been lazy, heh.

FWIW, I am sick of the sound my HKS makes, i really just want the best valve and dont care about sound, i'm thinking im going to switch to a Tial when i really start pushing hardcore amounts of boost. VTA is rice, but hell, we drive rice patties anyways!
