The tickets aren't from the wing itself, but it attracts the wrong attention to my car. I just recieved 3 tint tickets last week (see here)
about 4 months ago I got a ticket for allegedly rolling through a stop sign - cop was a huge *****.
last september I got a ticket for failure to signal lane change - this was by a state trooper on 94 west just past Calhoun. Again, this guy was a huge ***.
All these tickets are from profiling - plain and simple - pulling me over because of the car I drive - I havn't recieved a ticket in over 6 years, and all of the sudden I move to bum f*ck Wisconsin and I get 5 tickets in a year...... a little coincedental wouldn't you say?

Not to cause an argument here, but I have put 60,000 miles on my evo since May 2004 and I have yet to get a ticket in it. I have been pulled over twice in it. Once I was speeding (and I was speeding) and once for doing a hard launch/burnout while turning right from a stopsign downtown dells. I got 4 written warnings from the speeding one (No front plate, speed, not wearing a seatbelt (the only one that wasn't true) and incorrect info on my DL), for the burn out I got a bit of a lecture, a "that's impressive in an AWD car", a verbal warning, and a have a nice day.

Just cruised their site, their cores are a little more expensive than precision cores (which I use).
Why not stay with somethings that proven? Seems like it will cost more in the long run if the power output isn't there, plus you will have to figure out what the temp drop is before and after and then compare that to other "bolt-on" intercoolers. Too much work, and then if the gain is 1-2hp which Im sure is going to be the difference isn't worth it.
I have done a lot of my own fabrication, and actually just started working on a manifold for my new up and coming set-up (hopefully next year). I have both the head and turbo flanging and just got done at work welding up a jig. it will be all mandrel bent with no welds in the middle of the piping.
I would say go for it to try something different, but how many months have you been without a car? Seems like your fabricator is a tad on the slow side from the lack of updates.

No, it's not because he's slow... it's because the project is ever changing. Haven't given any updates only because it's always changing. Here's the latest pict There will be lots of people who won't like it.. but I dun't care
I have a PTE IC right now (garrett cores are really nice) but I need an IC with the inlet and outlet on the same side.
