About the water part I can't figure out why the sanitation dept doesn't get nailed with 480v. The motors are still live but they blast them with water all the time. I don't get it. The sodium lights are the best when they explode.
Anyways, do you know anything about delta systems? Our entire plant is wired delta and I never had to deal with that type of power. My best guess it that its an un-grounded system at the transformer utilizing the actual ground as the -. We have 3 phase 220, 480 running in the plant if that makes a difference.
