You make a good point. All other things being equal, the guy with certs probably gets the nod.

Also a degree means nothing after your first job, once you apply for that second job it's all about experience. In fact I think my internship got me offers more than my degree did.

I interview for my company and they have two main concerns.....

1. Will the new guy fit-in with the team?
2. Does the person pay attention to detail and are they cautious?

We figure we can train anyone to do almost anything. That being said we only consider people that already have a degree.

Silk, just a heads up. I might not be around here tomorrow evening/afternoon. I might finish early at the site I'm at and head back to the office. If I'm still around at like 3ish I'll give you a call, otherwise I'll probably be on my way back home.

Mack4777 I need your ROM. If Jason has not taken it from your car, have him do so. I will have your map shortly thereafter.

After another tuner recently loaded a map with the wrong immobilizer to a car, (rendering the ECU useless) I am making it mandatory to receive the individual ROM prior to modification just to make sure it is "toonerproof".

Also if someone FUBARs it in the future you can always come back and contact me for assistance getting you going again.

Good to know, how ever your schedule works out is fine by me. Like you said, just give me a call if you're still in the area

Sentry still has a ton of jobs open. Its a decent place to work but once they get ya they know they got you and the raises aren't too good. Mainly because there's nowhere else to work around here.
