Sorry to change subject but..
My APS BOV and two deif gauges are coing in the mail on thursday. Would any mil-town evo owners with experience in installing these parts like to help me with a proper install?
I will be happy to provide booze, install fee, grub, anything; just looking for a helping hand!
I am located right by bolsen, but i am very frequently on the eastside. I would be able to find a garage to work in, or maybe at the dealership i work at on good ope road. Any help is MUCH appreciated, so ANYONE let me know! Thanks in advance!

Chris

PS-forgot to give Honni congrats on the purchase; once the break-in is over, the adrenaline starts pumping...along with the boost

What gauges? The APS is a 2minute install.

Yup I miss the ole big car days. I use to have a 84 lesabre with a 305 in it, snapped the cam in 2 places but somehow the car still made it home (probably on 2 cylinders). Im just doing this project for the hell of it, getting bored of working on the evo all the time and I needed something to break it up. When I get back to the evo hopefully Ill have some new ideas.

Plus I just found out that this is a V8 t-type but the codes on the vin and rear label. 1 of 1000. They only came in gold and white + have the blackout trim. Not a collectors item but just kinda neat to find that out.

It actually doesn't. It just needs a 455. And doing that requires slight modification.

Two mechanical defi d-gauges, boost and a/f ratio (no need for the defi controller). Hopefully i dont have a problem with my boost gauge like some have, but you never know. It should be pretty easy, i have a custom gauge pod that goes where the stock gauge package would, so there should be a way to run it though the back. For the pod b you remove the whole "cubby", not juts put it inside, so i wouldnt need to drill through the back of the plastic cubby.

Your a/f gauge will be pretty much useless, it is a narrowband gauge 0-1v, and is barly accurate at WOT, your best bet is to get a wideband. Your more than welcome to stop over and take a look at my set-up or at the next meet.
