I use to have the Kawi 600 before they went out of production for about 8 years and then they came back with the 800SX or something like that.

The RXP through all the reviews I have read looks as if its very stable especially with the upgraded sponsons. I plan to keep mostly in the intercoastal water ways and the St. Johns river.

One group gathers twice a year to go from Miami to North Bimini. It's about a 2 hour ride due east of Miami cruising at 35mph or so. But the highest cost of the entire trip would be customs for bringing a craft into their waters which costs $150, then you have to worry about the $6/gal for fuel. It could turn into an expensive weekend. Down here there are tons of places to go and see, and even camp on some of the islands.

Once the summer hits in WI I'll either bring my Honda down or else just sell it up there and not worry about the hassle.
Crocodiles are from Austrailia joker... Alligators are in FL.

Dude, you have been watching too much Steve Irwin.

And this is what happens when a Burmese Python tries to eat an alligator in the Everglades.

I want the new 06-07 Sea-doo RXP. 215hp of water ripping fury. It does 0-30 in 1.8 seconds and 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. Not bad for being on water. Most cars can't even run that speed.

Heres the specs:
Manufacturer Sea-Doo
Model Year 2007
Model RXP™ (215 hp)
M.S.R.P. $11,199.00*
Engine Supercharged, intercooled Rotax® 4-TEC®, closed-loop cooling system

Bore x Stroke 100 x 63.4 mm
Compression Ratio 8.4:1
Ignition Digital inductive
Transmission Direct drive, forward / neutral / reverse and electric VTS™ (Variable Trim System)
Pump Aluminum axial flow, single stage, large hub with 10-vane stator
Impeller Stainless steel
Propulsion System Sea-Doo® Direct Drive
Intake Supercharged with intercooler, 52 mm throttle body
Battery 12V
Starter Electric
Horsepower 215 hp
Height 46.6 in. (118 cm)
Length 120.9 in. (307 cm)
Width 48 in. (122 cm)
Dry Weight 792 lbs. (359 kg)
Seating 1 or 2 riders
Fuel Capacity 15.9 gal. (60 l)
Type: Premium unleaded
Hull Semi-V, composite
Storage 10.7 gal. (40.3 l)
Colors Tri-tone Viper Red / White / Black, Two-tone Metallic Yellow / Black

Tell me it doesn't look fun as hell.

Ive got the GSX Limited, 130 hp two stroke, 63mph on the water. Yes they are a ton of fun the first two years, after that its investment you will never get back. The biggest problem is finding poeple to ride with, you think its tough getting evos together, try getting a run up the St Johns set up. There is only so much fun you can have in a Lake with a 30mph limit, and you better believe that they are enforced to no end in Orlando. I would strongly suggest buying used first.

This is the sled I bought when they first came out. 4-stroke, Mobil1 oil, IHI ball bearing turbo, 4cyl.

It was an Evo on water.

I could never figure out where to put on a boost controller though.

I still have my 03 in mid-WI. I think the first year for them was 02 if Im not mistaken. Either Ill have it brought down in the summer up there or just sell it and pay off the doo. Can't go wrong with Honda durability and reliability. They havent changed hull or motor design since new.

The MBC is actually very easy. If you still have it I can show you. Since you can get your hands on the Forge MBC is the way to go. Also with the X model you can either get a Macboost chip or spend some bucks and go with Hondata. The logging might be kinda hard since most laptops arent water proof. I can see it now. Scott hooking up a Zeitronix with all the bells and whistles with meth injection (more than enough room for a tank BTW in the bow) and clipping along at 85mph+

George I should be getting it within a month or so. Any time after that I should be open to ride anytime. I guess working 3rd isn't so bad afterall. The break-in is going to be a PITA, they say not to do any WOT runs until 3 hours.

two things for you guys:

1. don't think i'll be getting anything for the wheels. since the polished area is going to have to get stripped anyways, there's no point in throwing a fit and having them retouch the polishing.

2. we signed our lives away today. i am officially a homo.....i mean homeowner!! bad news is i may have blown the clutch money to get the house

The house will pay for a thousand clutches since you now have an asset that is better than any car.
