Gerald, got your text message.

I am out in Denver currently, before i left i got 600 out of the 750 city driving miles needed to break-in the clutch. It felt great and when i return in a month i will finish up the break-in period. The engagement point is perfect now and it is very exact, unlike the stock clutch. I havent gotten a chance to push the car hard since it wasnt broken in fully, but the whole care felt stronger and faster, its obvious much more power is getting to the ground.
Also i will contact you when i am back in town abt the advans, i will be finishing painting my volks when i get back and will be taking off the stockers/advans anyways./

So.....saturday night i lost my wallet (or stolen) early in the evening when i was was buying groceries, i noticed and cancelled all my cards ect. ect. right away. So this morning i woke up to drive to the Milwaukee DMV (which is a Fu<king nightmare to begin with). I grabe my ticket, wait in line, and then my number was called.

Me, "My wallet was stolen and i need a new driver's liscense."

Clerk, "Do you have any idenification?"

Me, "No my wallet was stolen, I can verify my address and social security number or what ever you need to do."

Clerk, "We need some sort of ID or even a credit card w/signiture to verfiy that its you."

Me, "yea well THEY WERE STOLEN! Dont you have pictures of me on record? That and the fact that i can give you my social security number should be enough to get me a new ID."

Clerk, "Yes we do have your picture but technically we can't use that to identify you."

Me, "That is BS! What am i suppose to do!?!?!?

Clerk, "I dont know what to tell you. Maybe you shouldn't put everything in your wallet."

He even went ahead to say that a birth ceritificate wouldn't do anything for me at that point.

Luckly i have a Passport in Sturgeon Bay that my old man is overnighting to me. Milwaukee DMV can suck my fu<king *****. Bunch of N-bombs.

WTF is the point of a friggin' license if they can't use your own fu<king photo to identify you?!?!?!?
And who in their right mind thinks a credit card is a secure-enough form of ID to be used to obtain what is supposed to be an even more secure form (your DL)?!?!?!
DAMMIT we have some stupid people around here!

For that money all you'll get is the ACT...that's what I had to go with at the time I needed one because of funds issues.

Your most cost-effective option may be to get a flywheel resurfaced, buy a new clutch disc, and either buy a pressure plate with the disc or have one rebuilt. If you are getting a different clutch disc, I would get a new pressure plate to go with it because it is important that is should be built to match the disc.

If you want go that route, I have an extra stock flywheel one laying around that you can get resurfaced so you'll have it ready for the new clutch install. Then just give me your stock flywheel when the install is done. Even trade. Then you can go the resurface route without havign to leave the car in pieces while waiting for the resurfacing. FYI: I also have a stock pressure plate.

BTW: Who is installing your clutch?

There is a new Fidanza clutch in the market. 6 puck sprung hub cerametallic that should be competative with ACT HDG6 which is backordered until mid Feb. I have a guy doing 12.3-12.4 @ 110 on stock cams and drop in filter TBE, O2, TTP flash with this clutch.
