Fu<k the snow.
Another Evo bites the dust.
Well, the wall at least.

Went out to Miller Park tonight with Pete and Erik. Had a blast out there. Went to breakfast after that at Omega on Hwy 100. Got on the freeway northbound/westbound on 894 at Beloit and lost it. Wasn't going fast, wasn't hard on the gas - car just came around really quick and unexpectedly. I hit another car with my left front and pushed him into the wall, then hit the wall with my right front. It was really "greasy" out. Luckily no one was hurt. Luckily the other driver was really cool-headed. Luckily the cops were really cool-headed.
That was about 4:30am. Car was againt the wall and stayed there (wouldn't run) so I didn't get a good look, but I took a quick look over what I could see: both fenders, hood, both headlights, bumper (if that wasn't already obvious). I know something is f'd with the IC or the IC piping cuz I couldn't get the car to stay running (felt just like a blown IC pipe), so that tells me sh|t got pushed in far enough to fu<k that up. But it didn't look like it was pushed back enough to hit the wheels. I would have been able to move it if I had unplugged the MAF and got it running. Airbags didn't even go off, so I'm guessing in the neighborhood of $5-7k to repair. Thank god for insurance.
Gotta go pickup stuff from the car in a few hours, including my house keys . I'm planning to get some photos at that time.

Pete was behind me and saw it. Big thanks go out to him for waiting and giving me a ride home, etc. and to Erik for turning around, coming back, and hanging out until the cops came.

Hate to hear that Nick...

If you go to Renner, make sure they use the right fasteners!

Yeah, I'll ask the insurance company if Renner is an option. I know that Don Jacobs is one of their approved repair places, but I would rather if they could go to Renner because of Renner's support for the local Evo community and the fact that its a lot closer.

Well, i highly doubt that it would be totalled. But i do have GAP insurance on the loan and would certainly be looking at a IX SE if it were totalled.
Since repair is most likely, I am gonna talk to the body shop to see what it would cost me out of pocket to upgrade to a IX SE bumper and the black or hyperblack headlights.
Might as well do an upgrade now if the schit all has to be replaced anyway.

Not really at all, tri's car is VERY comparable to Titan's knowing the fact that his setup is very similar to the Wight car from IL (dynoed at over 1400whp) that has run 0-60 in 1.04 seconds with a 7-8 second 1/4 mile time. Same sh|t, different pile. Either way, Tri's car at 45 psi is not going to be a joke, i think low 9's or high 8's is VERY doable.
