I thought it necessary to post a little helpful tip to all fellow evo owners and for that matter mitsu owners. So heres a little background.

I am driving around today when all of the sudden I hear something like I ran over a plastic bottle or something. So I look back in the mirror, nothing there. The steering wheel starts to vibrate a little so I get off the gas, put it in neutral, no more shaking. Ok, so I throw it back in 3rd and get back to speed, and the wheel starts vibrating again. So I decide to be safe and pull over and as I am, coolant starts spraying out of the hood vent. So I am like great now what. Check the coolant gauge, all is cool, not overheating or anything. I pop the hood, and proceed to get sprayed in the face with a nice hot shot of coolant. So now am a little pissed to say the least.

I start to look around for the source of the leak, and finally see that i have a 3" x 1" gash in my radiator, and no more radiator fan blades. So I start to look around and there are 3 of them laying in my engine bay. So ****, now I have to get towed. My buddy circles back around and I ask if there was anything in the road since he was right in front of me and he confirms that there was nothing.

Here is the ****ty part...I call mitsu roadside, and they were super helpful so i definately reccomend that service. However, I proceeded to wait 3 and 1/2 hours for a Mayfari Tow ttruck and when it finally shows up, the guy refuses to tow my car. Says its too custom even though its stock with some SSR's. So 6 hours later and a bunch of pissed off phone calls, Rays Towing who Renner uses came and towed it to Renner.

My best guess is the radiator fan had a weak blade and the dominos fell from there. This better be warrented is all i can say!!

Sorry for the long rant, just needed to get that off my chest since i just got home!! Brian, I will see you tomorrow morning like we talked on the phone.

CN: Radiator fan snapped gashing the radiator fluid. Spent 4 hours on the side of the road waiting for a tow, they refused. 2 hours later i finally got towed. Mayfair Towing=****
Rays Towing=Good

Tires fixed, thats one thing done!

Next is repainting the two passenger side doors.
Have any of you had you evos fully/partially re-painted? Where would you recommend in milwaukee? I am looking for a quality job at a fair price; no dripping, running or uneven paint. Any recommendations would be much appreciated!
