Maybe just the 03s did....bcuz at 'my friends racetrack'......i went 156 and it wouldnt let me go further (with some of the RPM band left obviously). Then i got into a discussion in another thread abt the stock speed govenor or whatever you wana call it and i was not sure if mine was removed by AMS. Upon calling them i found out it was......now just to see if its really true! Better go to "my friends racetrack" again!

As for the idle...do you have an idle stabilizer? Or a grounding kit? Or anything else that could aid in smoothing out the idle? Maybe just a really good tune!
I am just asking because my car has 272s and a much smaller turbo and my idle gets really choppy or lopey at times.
I dont know if it has anything to do with temperature or something but i really think they are just sporadic.
AT TIMES they will idle ALMOST like stock, but at other times it will sound like a beefed up muscle car (lopey are hell, sounds almost like AMS's racecar idling at the strip)
It always varies

Ive even gotten a comment from a old guy in a 50s pickup, he said my car "idles like its from the 60s"

Ya I can roll the miles pretty quick. I'm at 17K. since December. on my VIII I had 40K and clutch was fine, AND I might add still going strong even today with the new owner.

The IX is making more power than the VIII was even with cams.

I'm happy.
