If its at the WA one and at 7pm, I can probably make it, any later and I have to start packing the car. Plus no drinks for me so it I would seem a little mundane.

You are correct there.
Where I grew up in Milwaukee, a gun would have helped me keep my bike, my stereo ****, prevented a number of beatings due to my ethnic makeup...
I'd go back to CA and never return to this ****hole again in a heartbeat if I had a chance.
Have you ever lived in CA? People ( Wisconsinities especially) crap on places they have never been or have only seen on TV. I used to do it all of the time. Then I actually got out and saw the world.....and I feel differently now.

I prefer the southern states (not as low as florida), nice weather all around, nice people, and very nice country side.
I dont mind Arny, at least he is a R. I dont like doyle, i've even met him to say.
Milwaukee does have its bad sides, I wouldn't raise a family here, but you pick where you live, everyone knows where to stay away from. you should seriously go to my home town and spend a week or too, Door County is beautiful and you dont need a gun to protect yourself b/c people have morals in these smaller towns.
Considering that we had a condo in Marco Island, FL, i would say that as many times as i went down there i was almost a part time resident, not for me to live year round, but its nice.
i'll be in Germany for a couple weeks next month so i'll let you guys know how it is around Nuremburg is as far as living goes...

Go to Ulm, Germany. I lived there for 6 years. About 60 miles or so to the west is Stuttgart the home of the Porsche factory, however to the east is Munich. Most of my family resides in Babenhausen, hence an off spelling of my last name. But this is almost 70 years ago when they immigrated to this country, so Im sure even since Ive been there, there has been some "modernizing"

I hear you. I was not trying to say that about anybody in particular. I guess when it comes down to it, people like different things. I hate the south. Door County, while very beautiful, is like geezerville on steroids. I lived in a nasty area in Milwaukee and I have a different perspective than most of the people here. The rest of the state is like a wasteland to me...sorry.
To some, CA is a **** hole.....just don't knock untill you try it!!!!
