Word, ill keep you updated, i really want a larger turbo, cams, and ported head. but im almost sick of the evo. For the last couple of weeks ive been driving the z06, and it seems i get a lot more respect from that car than the evo even though my MR would eat it for breakfast. No offense to others in mke but it seems the evo has become such a rice boy image that only people who know anything about the car are the only ones to respect it. Not saying im a image only person, but it "seems" everywhere i go with the evo i get laughed at and taunted by other drivers... even though they have know idea whats under the hood. When i take the vette out its a whole different kind of respect, its unreal how different you get treated. Maybe its time for a different car.

So I became an uncle today. Kinda funny if you ask me, Sept 11th and my bro is an airline pilot.
I have a full next 2 weeks ahead of me. Im flying into MKE this weekend, heading down to FL 2 days later, then 2 days after that Ill be in NC (my application was accepted) then Ill be out in SoCal for a week. Then when I get back to Gunny I believe were heading out into the woods to do some elk killing.
Frequent flier miles here I come.

Holllllllllly fack there is a MONSTER supra crowd around here- they have a club out of Aurora, i cannot believe how many are tooling around. I talked to one of them, saw him at the 93 octane gas station- he said there is a guy who goes to events with them who has a Evo 5 and also someone with a converted 240, RHD and all.

Also a friend of mine just traded in his mach1 mustang for a 06 evo9 MR...hes trying to tell me its NOT a MR SE......but its tarmac black, has the "appearance package" as he put it (SE lip and all), and also has the red stitched Recaro seats.
I think there was some argument on the forum abt this, whether its called a MR SE or a MR with appearance package. Eitherway its NOT just a MR as my friend states it is, correct? I think he is just basing it off of the fact that the sticker calls it an appearance package and that it only has a MR badge on the back-but i have yet to see a MR SE that had "MR SE" on the trunk!
