Ink, I know you asked if they were MR specific springs and Tein does make them.

http://www.tein.com/price/mitsubishi.html

Found the right link this time. In the second table on the page for springs, they list MR and AYC in the notes field.

Got pulled over in a hail storm, WTF!

(this was in WI)

He was aboutto let me go, then said-wait let me test your tint ......

well to roll up the windows i had to at least put the car in the ON position (didnt start it so he wouldnt b|tch abt exhaust)..,.,

the second i put it into the "ON" position....the radar detector does its usual confirmation of all bands like it does every time you power it on....copmusta not liked that!

made me sit for 10 min with window down while hailing and sleeting, while he rummaged for a tint tester! Tests the tint-, got a 18.5 on 20%, so i got a fix it ticket for that, front plate, and he finally let me go!

ALL this in bad hail, of course i was speedin! I had already had the damage, it was lightening up, i was on country roads with no gas station with over hangs, and i was PISSED abt gettin the hail- so i was going 12 over!

Come to think abt it- i havent been pulled over for front plate in well over a year...i have it under my pass. seat incase i do get pulled over- say it 'fell off', if cop says he doesnts see a bracket, juts tell him i had it mountedon the mesh over the FMIC! I always do that for fix it tickets, ziptie it over the FMIC, sign off, drive 5 miles down street, snip off!
Also cops are a LOT more lax out here, i did a 3rd gear pull next to an off duty one and the guy gave me a thumbs up! I think it was cuz i was doing it on the freeway onramp (abt a 1/4 mile) and then slowed down well before merging into traffic. He rolled up next, i saw the uniform, and expected the bird or a radio in his hand....no a thumbs up!

But they are a lot more lax here, i havent gotten pulled over ONCE! (knock on wood) and thats with no cat, after driving past multiple "emission testing vehicles" that they place on freeway interchanges, and after running 105 for almost the last 2 months!

window tint looks good, but is not worth the hassel you get. Unless johnny law pulls you over, you are not going to get checked for a cat or crack dust on the tail pipe.
Is 105 even leaded?

I've been pulled over 2x when running 110....... there was crack dust all over my tailpipe both times, they didn't even f\/ck with my exhaust. Both times was tint and / or no plate.
