A teacher asks her class, 'If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?' She calls on little Mikey.
He replies, 'None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot.'

The teacher replies, 'The correct answer is 4, but I like your thinking.'

Then little Mikey says, 'I have a question for YOU.

There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream:

One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream.
The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone.
The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?'

The teacher, blushing a great deal, replied, 'Well, I suppose the one that's gobbled down the top and sucked the cone.'

To which Little Mikey replied, 'The correct answer is 'the one with the Wedding ring on,' but I like your thinking.'

One day, during lessons on proper grammar, the teacher asked for a show of hands from those who could use the word 'beautiful' in the same sentence twice.

First, she called! On little Suzie, who responded with, 'My father bought my mother a beautiful dress and she looked beautiful in it.'

'Very good, Suzie,' replied the teacher. She then called on little Michael.

'My mommy planned a beautiful banquet and it turned out beautifully.'

She said, 'Excellent, Michael!' Then the teacher reluctantly called on little Mikey.

'Last night at the dinner table, my sister told my father that she was pregnant, and he said 'Beautiful, just ****ing beautiful!''

Well I am hoping for 350 Miles.... CAn I do it before light comes on.

I am trying to prove to myself I can commute with this car with rising gas prices. Otherwise its the Smart car for me as a commuter( I would Keep the EVO though). I wonder how much power we can get from that 1 ltr motor......? The guys I work with have 2 Honda fits. they get 34-36mpg. I think I can get 31-32. driving like a complete *****, but if I want to I can Spank if need be.

Now this is what I fear as I notice others on the freeway. I drive about 80 miles/day minimum. I have noticed over the last month that freeway speeds are way down, mine too. I would normally drive at 85-95 MPH on my commute. i was getting 20-23 MPG.

With much fewer people speeding on the Freeways, cops are going to be looking for anything else to fine you for. No front plates,Tint, exhaust, suspension. once they stop you for one of these things, the others can follow rather easily.

As I have been driving by the Super Troopers over this last week. I hate to say it they look bored. This could be really bad for us. Nit picking everyth ****ing thing you may have illegal on your car.

anyone else have thoughts on this. you have to remember your friendly neiborhood cop is a tax collector. once the speeders lean out, they go for the next fishes.

Another interesting Note.

at 65mph with a 38 mile commute is 35 minutes and.07
at 70mph with a 38 mile commute is 32minutes and.57
at 75mph with a 38 mile commute is 36minutes and.40
at 80mph with a 38 mile commute is 28minutes and.50
at 85mph with a 38 mile commute is 26minutes and.82

at 90mph with a 38 mile commute is 25.72
at 110mph with a 38 mile commute is 20.72

Id have to much my calculator more to figure out the cost per mile at various speed to determine if it is worth it or not. perhaps after dinner.

Bill, I think if you have to do that much calculating you already know the answer

Every time I try to get good mileage my dreams are dashed by one good stomp on the throttle.

Tell me about it, I know, but i have been driving like "My little pony" and am doing well so far. been tempted, but really itching to do this tank justice. I'm soooo close. One more day.

I mean look at that fuel gauge. I would have been out of gas 20 miles ago .... 350 here I come....I hope Gulp//

I think it's about 2 gallons. If I fill up right when the light comes on, it takes about 12 gallons. I usually wait for a while though and put in about 13 gallons.

Ok, I'm up for this challenge. Filled up this morning and 23 miles on the tank so far.

Bill, you have a IX right? 6spd or 5spd?
