Bill, you have a IX right? 6spd or 5spd?
I'll beat you both... I haven't driven the Evo all week.

Ya its a IX with a 6 Speed.

Drove to a customers place 10 miles away, light came on, on the way back. 336 miles. Now I have to decide if I am couragous enough to try to make it to East Troy where they have unreformulated gas where I normally fill up.

so guessing right now I am getting 28-29 MPG. I have 22.7 miles to get to that gas station on my ride home. Should i try and make it? I'm Scared. and if there is about 2 gallons left, it should be interesting.

I must confess too. I boosted once this morning getting on to the freeway to kill a Mercedes that was dinking with me. A dud e with a Kompressor thingy. I think that shot my super goal all to hell. Oh well.

Also spotted a girl driving a white RS getting on the freeway at Highway 83 in Mukwanago and I-43, anyone we know?

You'll be fine.. If you drive it nicely I think you have easily 60 miles until you run out.

The owners manual says but I think the light comes on when you have 2.5 gallons and goes out when you have 3.5.

I've gotta think that being very conciensious but not going too crazy you could get 40mpg out of the car.

I'm willing to bet the good hypermilers could get 70mpg from it.

Maybe 70mpg was a little optimistic.

I would normally get about 240 per tank and have to put in about 11-13 gallons

I guess if I can save a fill up per week, it will save me 50 bucks. thats liek a free 1.75 ltr of Jack Daniels. hehe

Are you trying to put it into terms that Nez can relate to?

So 358.8 is the number to beat? I think my previous best in the IX was 310.

So far I'm at 63 and the needle is still above the full mark
