Well i've always had anti surge housings on my turbos. On my 30r I didn't know that i had a surge problem until AMS had it on the dyno and were doing 4th gear pulls from 2500 rpms. Once there was enough load on the car it would surge when the boost came on. All i did to fix it was reroute my vacuum lines to make sure that my BOV, WG, and boost controller all had individual lines coming from the intake mani with nothing in between that could disrupt the vacuum signal. Sometimes that is all it take, other times you have to start changing housings, timing, and other BS. Im not an expert but if you switch to an anti surge housing that is the same size than im not sure that it would fix your WOT problem. As far as i've been reading and from personal experience, anti surge housings are more for partial drivability than WOT.

My Current 35r housings sizes are

Compressor: .70 A/R
Turbine: .82 A/R

No surging thus far with my 2.3 35rHTA.

Compressor surge is the biggest b|tch in the boosting world

There was a couple really good threads about surge that i wish i would have bookmarked. I think you can do a search in the turbo/drive forums but there is a LOT of crap to swift through.
