Don Jacobs told me today that I need new pads front & rear.* He said he'd throw in resurfacing for a total of $870.I had my stock front rotors resurfaced once before because they were warped under warranty...then they warped even worse & I had them replaced under warranty.* My fronts are warped again and I want to replace them with either DBA 4000 series or Racing Brake stock replacements.Anyway...would I also need to replace my rear rotors when replacing the pads?* I'm going to go with Hawk HPS (performance street).

Holy cow that sounds expensive. I could've gotten all my Rotors and pads replaced for less

Yeah lithe don't do that. I can help you out replacing pads and rotors for way cheaper than that.

I know it's expensive...I declined repairs, much to their dismay I'm sure.

I found front rotors at buybrakes.com for $138/each (DBA).

I found Hawk HPS for $89/front & $67/rear at 500whp.com.

I was just wondering if I need to do rear rotors as well.

Yeah Alex, if you could help me install them it'd be great. I'm going to order parts tomorrow.

Edmunds has a review of the 2009 Ralliart.

Same engine as the Evo except for turbo & intake; same cams, compression & exhaust even.

Only difference are suspension components (no aluminum), brakes (standard Lancer GTS), and no rear suspension brace (seats fold down).

Kinda addresses all the issues most people had with the Evo X as a daily driver. Should be a great competitor against the WRX.

You shouldn't need to replace the rear rotors yet. We'll take a look when we do the pads.

Anytime you want to install that stuff we can do it.
