Did you change springs too? My Bilsteins and RobiSpec springs do not feel any softer than the stock KYBs.

Im debating weather to switch to the carbon/carbon during my build.

The only reason I opted for the tilton is the pull/push conversion, worth it IMO. The exedy has this option also but its a $1000 mark up on top of the clutch set.

With the build coming up I have steered away from the GT850r and will be going with the Precision 6765. Its $300 cheaper and should give out the same power.
I have a triple carbon for sale here if anyone is interested:

Kept the stock springs...love the look of lowered but hate dealing with it.

I don't want to think about driveways when I approach them

Good to hear. Thanks for the props, Mike!

Man... ton of projects lately. Few clutches, head gasket, turbo install, engine swap, tranny/tcase swap, few suspensions... seems like everyone has come out of the woodwork to start having fun with the Evos again. (Weather must have finally warmed up. )

It'll be nice to get my LSD installed and get my TTP tune. Then I'm planning to save for coilovers and/or tranny and tcase rebuild.

Is this from changing of driving habbits alone or have you modified your tune?

I've seen 28 on short trips but I've never gotten that with multiple starts and some in town commuting. I've often wondered if yanking the wing and pulling some weight out of the car would help.

I assume that Bill would have to be doing some very outrageous driving habbits to get that mileage...unless MIVEC is just that good for gas mileage You have cams right Bill?

I'm seeing like 22-23 in town and that's keeping it under 4K 90% of the time.

Just from driving habits. car has IC pipes, cams, 3'' down pipe and test pipe, 80mm Greddy Exhaust, no cat, EVC 6, pretty normal stuff. I am only paying attention to how I drive.

check out these pics from today. I had to Drive to Endevor Wisconsin.

I think I will get 405 with this tank..... Gulp the second to last pic says 250 miles. I got home and almost had 300 miles with well over a 1/4 tank to go.

not really outragous at all. driving the speed limit, modulating throttle over and down hills, taking off normally, basically behaving. I dont do the screwy things you read about with the hypermilers like not braking for corners or stop signs or anything, but have used some of their tricks. the funny thing is when you bag it now, you really feel it. its funny how you get used to a quick car. keeping out of boost seems to be the key. the car really sips gas. I want to play around with the boost controller with its partial throttle boost settings but just need time.
