cant make it here either...grr...hanging out in a hotel room all night...boooring....may be picking up navi for the evo tho from frys down the road here....built in 40gb HD and single din...kinda cool. prefer double din, but an orbital + touchscreen is super spendy..

Check out e-pinions or some other review sites. I looked at similar JVC units before I got my phone (for navigation) and, well, just go ahead and form your own opinion

seems to be that the main negatives are no touch screen, audio cd's need to listen through to rip, and ipod navi isnt super intuitive...

another note, orbitals arent easy to come by, and the touchscreen pioneer units are super nice, but dont have the built in HDD...

if someone plopped an orbital in my face this second, i would probably prefer a double DIN AVIC unit of some sort...

It's personal preference but I always felt that having a navi system tied to your deck was a waste since it only works in that car and is not portable.

i can see your point....however, i wont buy navi for my phone since i hate holding them or setting them down, and i hate suction cups on my windsheild hehe....

i would say my priorities are this:

Music - iPod/Music Keg (having the HDD is kinda cool....)
Navi
Bluetooth (wouldnt buy right away)..

going to look and see again tonight, but ideally....i need an orbital double din NOW!!! lemme know if you see one....impossible to find..

I would say your first priority is not to get lost j/k

I'm just used to it from traveling so much so I only use nav stuff to verify where I'm at, not actual directions. I only use it when i'm lost.
