So my big problem has been solved. Since the move to the AEM...again. I would have needed a base map for when the car is fired up. Thank god AMS is sending me one.

OK guys, cruise time..

So Nick, Pete, Gerald, and I are planning a cruise in January of 2009. We're going to try to nail down times and flight info tonight at Fudds around 8. If you are interested in joining us, you should try to get there tonight to discuss.

Here are the details that Leanne has gathered so far:

7 days departing January 18, 2009 on
Princess'Crown Princess

Inside $649
Oceanview $747
Balcony $946
Suite $1,185

ITINERARY

DAY DATE PORT ARRIVE DEPART
Sun Jan 18 Fort Lauderdale, FL 5:00pm
Mon Jan 19 Princess Cays, Bahamas 9:00am 4:00pm
Tue Jan 20 At Sea
Wed Jan 21 St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles 9:00am 6:00pm
Thu Jan 22 St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands 7:00am 4:00pm
Fri Jan 23 Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands 1:00pm 7:00pm
Sat Jan 24 At Sea
Sun Jan 25 Fort Lauderdale, FL 7:00am

they DO have single rates, but obviously, more than if you share a cabin.

the rate is $920-975 (depending on the cruise) PLUS taxes/fees.
you get a $25 shipboard credit to use on the ship.
AND if you end up finding someone that you WANT to share your room w/ you, all we do is add them on, and pay the balance (i think the fare for tom and i was $1571 which DID include all the fees/taxes)

$250 is due now, the balance is due mid october.
if you share a cabin, the "due now" is $500.

We are going to go the day before and stay in a hotel that night so we don't run into any weather issues missing the boat. so that'll be another minor cost.

As of today it's looking like the flights will be $82 down there $82 back, but the flight back doesn't leave until 7pm so we'll have to spend some time doing something there. or pay $186 to come back on a different flight earlier in the day. my vote is to save the $100 and chill.

So what do you need when we are ready to book? $250 or $500 down for the cruise depending on 1 or 2 people in the cabin. and money for the flight. we'll book the hotel later as that will be easier to get. We'll get it arranged for you and you'll provide your own CC to book.

We should stay at TTPs house. Im going to try and make this, so keep me on the list as of right now. I wont need a hotel the night before, I have a place to stay in Sunrise.

Hey Tom, dont forget to mention when/if you go ashore for the day the excursion can get pricey pretty quick. Figure about $150-$200 per day ashore. At least thats what Alaska was like.
