are you guys all developers?
I see a lot of talk about data centers and the whatnots and the internets... are you guys all devs? I'm a C#/Java Dev at a company out in hartford...

I think there are more Admins than Devs in here. I think MidniteEco and are the only developers, at least professionally. I know there are a couple of hobbyists who for whatever reason decide to only do it in their spare time.
I work for buyseasons in new berlin as a software engineer. I'm responsible for all our e-commerce apps. Currently that's just buycostumes.com, but soon will also include celebrateexpress.com, birthdayexpress.com, firstwishes.com and costumeexpress.com.
It's all supposed to launch on the 15th, but I don't think we are going to make it.

i manage our VMware ESX/Windows infrastructure and some network stuff for our data center in IL........sucks to be them.

Damn, I don't have to but am going to return my new phone, the Fuze.
My new work has some legal thing where they want to own the phone numbers for their employees if they are using it for business use. I could keep it but what's the point in paying $100/month for data on a win mobile device when they are giving me a Moto Q (not the biggest fan but it will work) with data that is paid for.
I liked tinkering with it as a hobby but I guess that will come to an end. I guess I could afford to lose a hobby or two though...more money for the car then someday
