Mikeman, there is a scca driving school on 4/18/09, it's a sat. I think it's $60, you have your lunch at Kelly's then you head over to miller park to drive for hours. Which I think it was really fun. And they assign you with an instructor. Then the first SCCA event is on the following day. Yay!!!

Sounds like something I'd be interested in too. No autocrosses in the X yet... gotta see how the beast handles the tight stuff, and how Miller Park looks wearing a set of Yokohamas .
btw- heard you might have some tires for sale?

What do you guys think? Should I stay with my plan of using Q16 or go the E85 route? I just found a station about 2 blocks from my house with E85 for $1.59 today.

My only concern would be the consistency of the fuel. I never had any problems with E85 consistency that I noticed, but I've heard of people getting quite the variation from tank to tank.

the price of VP race fuels is down big time. our buddy smokey is now a distributor as well so he gets it for even cheaper. I havent heard much about what Brian said with the E85 but that doesnt sound good to me. Q16 seems to make an *** load of power and that is what im sold on.
