Anybody wana go shooting this weekend? Its suppose to be decent out. I'll probably go to McMiller Sports Center in Eagle. I've been dying to sight in my M4.

I'd love to go to a range some time. My sister is in the Army National Guard and has told me that shooting is a nice release. I've always been midly interested in guns. I'd like to have a .40 Sig Sauer some day just to range shoot with I think...maybe a rifle if I ever get back into hunting (used to shoot bow).

I can't commit to anything this weekend though. Hope you have fun Nez, one of my friends has told me he'd love to have an M4 someday.

On an unrelated note, why would someone have an MBC with a tune? Isn't one of the purposes of engine software to control boost? Or would this just be for winter months to manually turn down the boost so no boost cut? Sorry, maybe this is a stupid/obvious question.

Well pretty much with a MBC you can boost more. Factory setting is 17-19 psi, with MBC you can boost it up to 23 24psi

and an MBC wont tapper the boost like the stock controller would

Sorry to hear about the accident but at least you can collect some payback from it.

As for the EVO X crew.... I hope you guys make it to BHFs. I think I'm done with Shawano. The last two times I was there I felt like leaving early.... too slow and too hard on tires. If it wasn't for Moss waving that meatball flag in my face I probably would have fallen asleep at the wheel!

I am planning to do a full track autobahn event as well. I'm seriously considering the AMS full track day .... if that doesn't work I will sign up with Feff .

Any of you planning any other lapping days? I would be interested in MAM, MidOhio, or Putnam.

So an MBC is mostly to eliminate boost taper like Nez said.

I'm wrong to assume that a tune would be able to program in more boost than the OEM factory setting?

Also, Nick, did you get a 9 turbo install kit for your 8? I've seen people on this site just say they bent the lines to make them fit & just ordered the J pipe.
