So I got a little camera designed for motorsport use for my birthday and did a little testing with it today. To share it, I also had to get with the times and figure out how to upload to youtube.
Anyway, here's my first 15 second video using the suction cup mount on the windshield.

And damn, your roads are wide open... I would've been on the bumper of a camry in about 15 seconds around here (no offense, Nez). You were at legal speeds the whole time, right?

It is only about 6" from the ground. The camera actually lives in a little plastic waterproof case so rocks would probably only damage the case. The camera is cheap enough that it would be upsetting but not devastating if it did get destroyed by a rock.

20mph right out of my drive way, 35-40mph past the cop and up to 60mph at the fastest point. I think it looks way faster from the front bumper.
